The dates apply to the provider snapshots named by OpenAI; the catalog may expose those snapshots through a canonical model ID. ## Platform deprecations OpenAI also lists product-level migrations that are not model records: * Reusable prompts are scheduled to shut down on November 30, 2026. Move prompt content into application code. * The Evals platform becomes read-only on October 31, 2026 and shuts down on November 30, 2026. OpenAI recommends migrating to Promptfoo. * Agent Builder shuts down on November 30, 2026. Migrate to the Agents SDK or ChatGPT Workspace Agents. ## Migration checklist 1. Replace the deprecated model or product in a staging environment. 2. Re-run representative evaluations, especially structured outputs, tool calls, audio quality, and long-context tasks. 3. Compare latency and spend under production-like concurrency. 4. Canary the replacement with an explicit rollback route before the shutdown date.
