Choose the Phaseo CLI runner for an isolated session, or create a dedicated key with the CLI and configure an existing Kilo Code installation manually.

Run Kilo Code through the Phaseo CLI

For the Kilo Code CLI, let Phaseo provision the provider configuration for one session:
Use --catalog all to expose every active Phaseo text/chat model, or --dry-run --json to preview the install and launch plan. Use phaseo run kilo ... for the explicit command form. The runner uses a temporary KILO_CONFIG file, so it does not overwrite an existing Kilo Code or VS Code setup.

Configure Kilo Code manually

  1. Open Kilo Code in VS Code.
  2. Select the settings icon, open Providers, then select Add custom provider.
  3. Enter these values:
  1. If no model is discovered, add ID anthropic/claude-sonnet-4.6 manually.
  2. Select Submit, then choose the Phaseo model.
Kilo displays the selection as phaseo/anthropic/claude-sonnet-4.6: phaseo is the local provider ID, while the rest is sent to Phaseo as the model ID.

Verify

Ask Kilo Code to reply with PHASEO_KILO_OK, then confirm the request appears in Phaseo activity.

Remove

Delete the custom provider in Kilo Code, then run:
The CLI cannot clear private extension storage, but removal revokes the key.

Troubleshooting

No models are discovered

Add the model manually. Discovery through /models is not required.

Authentication fails

Replace the saved value with phaseo integrations credential kilo-code and keep the Base URL exactly as shown.

The model name looks different

Select phaseo/<Phaseo model ID> in Kilo, but do not add phaseo/ inside the model ID field.
