Set up with the Phaseo CLI

These production-ready commands require a Phaseo account; the CLI creates the dedicated gateway credential during sign-in and setup.
Install Pi from its official release first. Setup writes a managed provider extension to ~/.pi/agent/extensions/phaseo.ts. The extension exposes every active Phaseo text model compatible with Chat Completions and resolves its dedicated API key from the Phaseo CLI at request time. Choose an initial model or configure only one model when needed:
Use --dry-run to preview file changes.

Start and verify

Open /model, choose the phaseo provider, and send a small prompt. Remove only the managed extension and revoke its dedicated key with:

The generated extension uses Pi’s command-backed key syntax:
No plaintext key is written to the extension.
